For the Love of Bringing Books to Life: Write, Publish, and Be Known

The Ultimate Book Launch Party

Hunt Slonem Book launch party

I just returned from a trip to NY for the book launch party of The Creativity Cure by my clients Drs. Carrie and Alton Barron. The party had all the right ingredients: – Free copies of a most fresh and fabulous book (more about why “free” is so important in a minute) – Friends, colleagues, supporters of the authors from all walks of life–from their patients to   old and dear friends and colleagues – Friends of friends–people who don’t know the authors but can help create buzz and spread the word – The most creative space I have ever[...]

Finding Your Writing Voice: Head vs. Heart

My new favorite book–and I do not bestow that honor lightly–is Notes from the Universe: New Perspectives from an Old Friend by Mike Dooley. Why is it my favorite book?[...]

The Winner Is…

Here are the final posts from our November month of writing support. Thank you to everyone for your inspiring shares and congratulations on your progress this month. And the winner of a free consultation with me is Kirsty Greenshields… Kirsty Greenshields: Okay, here’s my contest entry …. My goal for November was to have completed at least six chapters of my book “Women, Money and Intimacy”. I’m doing the 8 week course, and want to have my first draft finished by Christmas. I stalled for a few days and then got back into it, going deeper into my own journey[...]
